The Best anti-productivity devise on the market |
I have used this device since January. It is horrible. I'm on my third box - they keep sending me a new box - when the problem is the design. It crashes, drops calls, locks up regularly. I've spent thousands of dollars of my useful business time on this phone. It is the pits. I wish I'd never bought it.

not near the quality of the palm version |
the 700w is nice due to the windows system only. i have difficulty with this phone in regard to the following: pairing, a constant problem, paired one moment not the next, will not pair to my bluetooth headset and continually loses the pair to my car. additionally, screens will just appear for no reason, typically the screen that just appears is the time and date set up screen but there are others. there are obvious advantages over the 650 but not worth the problems. i am done with it, they either replace with a phone that works properly or i change carriers.

Crashes too often even for an MCSE! |
Works sometimes! Most of the problems seem to be eronious errors and systems not working connectly. I thought it might be better once I got the replacement but three replacements later, it still crashes more than once a week without any addtional software installed.

Too Expensive and Too Buggy |
The processor needs to be bumped up a tad, there are 600mhz devices out now right??? Always crashing and having to reset. My god you can get 4gb flash cards for these phones now days so Microsoft let us have the slider to change our memory like Mobile 2003 or vendors add more memory to run programs!!! And personally I would like to see a larger screen, 320x320 or better. I would like to see better camera capabilities and not have to buy PDAnet, we should also have the right / ability to reload whatever OS we want on these phones and have them work with our preferred carrier still. And one last note, my god add the wifi in what the heck!!!

Can't sync with Activesync |
After 8 months......still cannot sync with Actievsync. Cannot answer a call waiting call without hanging up on both parties (and freezing the treo, requiring a soft reset). I love being able to get email and use the web. Hoping they work out the bugs soon.

Class action lawsuit |
It is only a matter of time before the 700W class action lawsuit joins the previous class action lawsuit filed against Palm for sending this junk to market. Count me in.

I love the features |
I used Treo 650 for over a year.
To the point, the 5 way pad had no paint left, due to my heavy use.
But the Treo 700w is more functional and comes with standards inclded, that you had to buy extra software on the PalmOs. Like I can do movies and mp3 the same day I got it. ALso, I can create ring tones and and asign them to the contact list, without extra software. Voice recorded noted, drawings too.
Again it takes some getting used too, but dont they all. I am well pleased with the changes!

Great phone |
I have had this phone for nearly 4 months. No problems, no reboots, and will sync up great. Definately beats the toshiba pda I just got rid of. Anyone that has problems, just doesnt know how to use a pda or phone.
